Climate Change Special Interest Section Executive since 2010 that led:

  • discussions on certification and competency for practitioners (2011), and then developed climate change ceritifcation governance options (2012)
  • an ANZ steering committee that ratified certification parameters and draft proficiencies (2013-14)
  • negotiations with the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme (CEnvP) Board to host and in 2014 launch a climate change certification specialty (2014)
  • formation and now management of a panel to certify practitioners (since 2014)
  • workshops on draft proficiencies in Iceland (2014) and Perth (2015)
  • preparation of successive business plans (2010-16) and now governance (2016/17)
